WeBot: Access your music and movies anywhere.

WeBot just entered a public beta (never heard of that before… ;) phase. I’ve signed up, but somewhat skeptical about the service for some reason. Maybe it’s that I’m not as comfortable as I thought about leveraging technology so heavily to be entertained… What ever the reason. I’m going to set it up at home and test it out being the “what’s new” junkie that I am.

    I saw that you are trying out our application. WeBot’s roots are in the online music community (Winamp) and we have been building feature sets with strong user input.

    Our vision is to bring a cross platform anywhere, anytime media solution to market that integrates easily into the social fabric of the Internet. We only have a subset of that functionality in the market today. This week we announced that have achieved our cross platform goals by fully supporting Mac, PC and Linux. I am looking forward to hearing what you think of the product and would be happy to talk with you more about where we are taking the product in the near future.
